I use all satin.
I don't like the high gloss look.
Satin. In my view, most shiny finishes cheapen the look. Plus, the reflective glare on shiny surfaces can get annoying.
Satin here too. A high gloss look reminds me of a cheap plastic product. JMHO.

The kitchen designer working on my house says almost all of the high end cabinets he sells have a 15 gloss number, which is pretty much on the low end of satin, not quite flat.
high gloss quickly looks bad...
Areas that receive a lot of traffic - close proximity to door handles and cabinets near sinks and stoves that cleaned/wiped down more often - quickly become satin or matte.
