    A couple more spirals

    A pair of mirror image "fraternal twins", maple/walnut and walnut/maple (or maybe the other way around):

    About 5.5"x2.5".
    Yoga class makes me feel like a total stud, mostly because I'm about as flexible as a 2x4.
    "Design"? Possibly. "Intelligent"? Sure doesn't look like it from this angle.

    Lee....very nice and I like the contrasting woods.

    The pattern, however, makes me think I'm having another vertigo attack

    Very nice, Lee, reminds me of southwestern native American basketry designs.

    Nicely done Lee. I like the contrasting wood between the 2 bowls and the different spiral direction.
