    motor

    Has anybody changed there motor out of there unisaw? I have to change mine and I have seen a 4 hp. Lesson on Amozon.com. Dose anybody have any experience with this or any other to recommend.Thanks

    Jack, changing the motor shouldn't be too difficult physically, but you need to buy the right type of motor...the frame type needs to match (shaft length and diameter should also be the same) so you can't just buy any motor.

    Check out electricmotors.com They offer a direct replacement leeson for the unisaw.

    Uni requires a special mount motor.

    I have seen the direct replacements from Lesson, has anybody tried one.
