    Pat,

Nice shop! Yep your little Rikon needs a big brother. What that saying 'new house, new baby' (that never worked for us). A nice big Mustrad or Mayo would fit comfortably in your new 'Man Fort'. If you spent too much on the shop look at Miracle Whip 1642.

    Congrats.

Thanks for all the comments. What a difference it makes having a clean, bright dedicated area.

You nailed it Frank - the Miracle Whip 1642 is the most likely candidate as of now. I have a good idea of what I spent in total for the shop, but haven't made the final tally with returns figured in and all... (I've got the $$$ squirelled away for a Mustard Monster, just don't know if SWMBO would approve of it over the 'Whip').

I believe the shelving is Edsal brand - and I think it ran $30 for each upright and $17 or so for each crossmember.

    Nice setup.

If I ever buils a shop, I am going to make the floor a conveyer belt so that all I have to do is flip a switch and the area around the lathe carries all the waist right out of the building. Clean-up is the only thing that bothers me when turning vessels. Other than sanding.
