    Holbren Quality?

    Steve,

How's the quality on the Holbren branded bits? I'm only familiar with them as a place for good deals on Whiteside bits.

    Thanks
    Aaron

I've never used them, so I really can't say. From what I've read in reviews, they are at least comparable to MLCS. For this price, I figured I'd risk it.

Not quite on par with Whiteside, Infinity, Eagle, Freud, etc., but are more closely comparable to MLCS, Woodline, Woodcraft, etc.

That set looks exactly like the Harbor Freight set I bought last week on sale for $19.95. Same panel pattern, etc. The only difference is mine is yellow! I wish I could tell you how good it is. I bought it for the garage cabinets.

I called for the first time to place an order for this set & they had problems processing it with the SMC code & said the owner would call me right back. Never heard anything so I think I've lost interest.

So I think I'll stick with Woodline, Lee Valley, Rockler, Woodcraft, Woodworkers Supply & Grizzly. These companies have always treated me good.

I usually find it much easier to be wrong once in while than to try to be perfect.

My web page has a pop up. It is a free site, just close the pop up on the right side of the screen
