Looks good Mike and looks like it works well by the looks of the vase on the headstock. Well done.

Really nice looking hollow forms Mike! Your system looks like it is beefy enough to handle anything you can throw at it! Looking forward to seeing more of your turnings!

Great Job Mike! Great design, nice and heavy duty. I like the use of the plastic white board to keep the rig from getting scratched up, probably also helps cut down on vibration noise.
I gotta make me one of these and you have given me some great ideas. Curious, what did ya use for the tubing.

    Happy Turning,

The tubing or rod on this is actually, a 2''x24'' solid rod with a 3'' counter bore in one end. Although it makes the tool a little heavy, there is virtually no vibration or chatter, and when I rub a little parifin on the high the high density plastic it slides around like it's on ice. Thanks for all the nice comments, It really helps encourage a novice like myself

Really nice job on that rig. I like the way you approached it. Could we see closer more detailed pictures? To all the others out there, See, I'm not the only one who is color coordinated. Even you Mustard guys can get those ladies dressed well!
