    Hot off the 'press'

And by press I mean Lathe. This is also testing out my new Sorby hollow master. It was a piece of curly maple that was scrap, and had some spalting and a nice bark inclusion. It is 2.5" high and approx 9" diameter. There is a 3/4 lip on the bowl.

no finish yet, have some natural defects to correct with inlays and some more sanding to get some tool marks out.

Nice piece Keith, love that shape , makes perfect candy bowl . Maple is one of my favorites. Add a pedistal and a lid for the perfect compote...

Great form Keith. Can't wait to see it finished.

I like the rolled edge on this piece. Looking good so far. I also want to see the finished piece... with inlays
