Houston Woodworking Show / Freedom Pens

Wow, what a day. In addition to handing out over 200 Freedom Pens Project flyers, I also talked to each and every vendor there (75+) about the project. The response I received was nothing less than incredible. Following are some highlights.

    1) Received committments to put information and a link to the project on their web sites from:

    www.woodturnerscatalog.com The Woodturners Catalog
    www.wwch.org Woodworkers Club of Houston
    www.wwset.org Woodworkers of Southeast Texas
    www.woodworkerschoice.com The Woodworkers Choice
www.gulfcoastwoodturners.org The Gulf Coast Woodturners Association

    2) Committment to put up flyers in stores from:

The local Rockler Woodworking and Hardware
    The local Woodcraft Supply
The local Cutting Edge Woodworkers Supply

I have been invited to talk about the Freedom Pens Project at the next meeting of the Gulf Coast Woodturners Association on Feb. 21st. If anyone else in the Houston area would like to ride shotgun just shoot me a PM or EM.

All that in addition to numerous offers to turn pens, donate stock and money from individuals.
