Looks just fine on my 22" Wide Screen LCD. But if it changes, so be it. No biggie.

    Hard On The Eyes!

    as to the new format,
    I'm all one for change,
especially in the spirit of improvement.

but I fail to see it here.......
seriously it is HARD ON THE EYES!
(and I'm not even talking about the orange)

I feel like I'm about to fall asleep as I scan the forum.

The significant problems we encounter cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.

I'm afraid I have to join with those who are having a problem with the new colors. Also the buttons are pretty small for my old eyes.

    Well it certainly is different.
I usually find it much easier to be wrong once in while than to try to be perfect.

My web page has a pop up. It is a free site, just close the pop up on the right side of the screen

Go back to the old colors or give us a choice

    Thumbs down New look

I'm with everyone else so far. Yuck!

The orange is pretty tough on the eyes. Combined with the more subtle overall appearance it just digs a hole in the old retinas.

Overall (except for the dayglo orange) there is too little text/background contrast for easy reading.

The buttons are unreadable, took me a while to even find them and my eyes checked out ok a few months ago.
I imagine those with slightly less than good vision will have a very hard time with the new look.

I'm sorry - I am sure things are meant to be an improvement but I don't quite understand the change. The colors are something that I would not choose for myself but if I had to - I could get used to. My big problem is that I can't figure out which post I already responded to and which one is actually new. Are there going to be any options as to skin?

Sorry to complain - it just made checking what's going on a lot more difficult.

If we are taking a vote: I find the colors too washed out and the text on the buttons quite small. More contrast please. If it is meant to be soothing, its not ;-)

Yep what Glenn said I can barely make out the text buttons and my eyes are only 48 years old

Not sure I dislike the orange so much but the contrast to lite blue is terrible

On further review I don't like the orange either

That's just here: there are at least two other similar threads going.

And I don't know if it's related, but when I bring up a thread, the screen goes blank for several seconds...executing 'style' script maybe?

I am having a great deal of difficulty seeing/reading the text in the new colors.

I sure hope you will consider changing it back, or perhaps let each user choose their own scheme.
