    Delta 13" planer knives

I need some new reversible planer knives for my 13" Delta planer.

Amazon has them for about $50. Seems a little steep considering that they're disposable.

Anybody else got a less expensive idea?

Jason, you can try your local Lowe's. They may be out of the 13", mine are now, but I bought one set for about 18.00 a couple years ago. Didn't say they were closing them out, but they may have been. Jim.

    Lowe's no longer carries them.

I just use a Jig and sharpen them

If they are not to bad you can try this:

I have attached pictures of the one I use. Can be done on glass with sandpaper or with a diamond stone. or sandpaper on MDF.

Mine are pretty badly nicked. I wouldn't even try to sharpen them.

One of the better prices I have found. I pick some up now and then when I order Blum Slides.
