    A visit to England Question

We will be visiting the great London area next year, with day trips out in the country side. One of the things SWMBO has tasked me with, is to ensure I will not miss any woodworking/lathe/etc things to see I already have the The V&A on this list, any other reccomendations? TTFN Ralph
Making sawdust mostly, sometimes I get something else, but that is more by accident then design.

Non-woodworking memorable things from my trips to London back in 98-99 are:
    - Greenwich (home of Greenwhich Mean Time)
    - Bath (take the train from Paddington Station)
    - Harrod's Department Store

I was there for work and basically only had a couple weekends and a few hours every night free so there was a lot more I didn't get to see. But working in London and experiencing real life there was fun too.

    HI Ralph

Where to start, lived in London myself until 6 years ago so a couple of questions.

What sort of transport will you have, are you just relying on trains buses etc or will you be hiring a car?

Also when are you coming over and where abouts in London will you be staying?
