Thread: Can I edit my post?

  1. #1

Question Can I edit my post?

I have used the edit feature before, but now can't find it.

The SMC FAQ says the following:

"If you have registered, you will be able to edit and delete your posts. Note that the administrator can disable this ability as he desires. Your ability to edit your posts may also be time-limited, depending on how the administrator has set up the forum.

To edit or delete your posts, click the button by the post you want to edit."

    Am I missing something?

    Larry

EDIT: I can edit this post, but there is no edit button in my "Woodworkers Classifieds" post

I'm pretty sure it times out, after 20 min or so no more edit

That could be. Would be nice in the Classified ad forum if you could add SOLD or SALE PENDING.

You cannot edit your post past 24 hours. Relative to the classifieds, just let any moderator know you need a thread marked "sold" and we'll take care of it when we can.
