    Matthew,

    Thats a very nice piece. Hickory is a hard, difficult wood, so you should be proud of your hand work. My guess is that you'll find cherry or walnut a piece of cake after mastering hickory. Good job.

    Very nice. I like working with hickory. It makes the shop smell good. So when are you starting your tool case??

    Great work! I love hickory.
    I opened the thread and saw the pictures, and before even reading the post, I said to myself, "That guy's wife is gonna take that chest...", so when I read it in your post I had to laugh.
