    Talking Finally got 'er together!

Some of you fellas are familiar with my Grizzly G0490 story. Well I finally got it together and she's almost ready to make some sawdust. You can check out a pic below.

Nice jointer, but please don't tell me you use a collection bag under your Contractors table saw when you have a dust collector sitting right there ! Does any of it get used ? I don't see a spec of dust on ANYTHING !

Nice machine, I was thinking of getting one once the budget recovers from the holidays. Watch out for that foot pedal for the mobile base. It will crunch the top of your foot if you don`t stay out of the way of it when your moving it. I have a black & blue foot from getting run over by my planer.

That is a collection bag, but it has a spot to connect a hose to it. So I use my shop vac to suck dust out the bottom and my dust collector to suck dust out the back.

Thanks Gary. It is a 8 incher with the standard 4 knife cutterhead. I did replace the stockers with carbide tipped knives though.

Its so clean because I'm not actually building anything in there right now and still in the process of getting it set up. Once the dust starts flying it doesn't look nearly as clean.

Those tiles are actually rigid molded polypropylene. They are dead ringers for the Racedeck Circletrac tiles for much less money from Sams club. All of the heavy tools roll very well on the tiles.
