    CorelDraw question

    I'm trying to work with a logo and think I need to "convert to curves" in order to push and pull the nodes to smooth the image. However, after I select an image and go to "arrange", I find that my "Convert to curves" is greyed out and inactive.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks in advance.

    Unless you are going to arrange to ungroup the drawing I don't know why you'd use arrange. Are you using the shape tool to move the nodes?

    I suspect your drawing is already a curve or group of curves.

    Convert to Curves

    Hi Chip;
    Are you sure it is a vector image?
    If so, make sure you break apart any groups, convert to curves, and then double click the part you want to reveal the nodes.
    Good Luck
    Best regards;

    Goerge, it's a bitmap image. Can I only accomplish my goal with a vector image?

    Mike, I looked and it isn't grouped. Am I barking up the wrong tree?

    I can't hardly wait for my "unleashed" to arrive! Where is that darned UPS truck????

    Chip,
    Yes, must be vector--use tracing functions first.

    George had the answer but I would try to convert it to vector using Trace first since you need only select the image and click on trace. If you don't get satisfacotry results the go the Stanford site.

    There are many tutorial sites on the internet which you'll find to be as helpful as the book.

    I would take the time to look at all of these. http://www.youtube.com/profile_video...exisgalvez&p=r
