    Heres another segmented bowl!

    I just finished this today it is 4" in dia 4" tall ,Ebony,Holly,Wenge,Red and white veneer. Lacquer finish Beall buff wax only.Randy

    Randy, that's a very nice piece of joinery. I have a couple of very minor suggestions. The curve, as it approaches the base, reverses in order to provide a big enough base. If you had kept the lower profile a little fuller and made the base piece thinner, you could have maintained a more pleasant continous curve (personal opinion). With this small size, the cross-grain at the top of the staves, is probably not going to cause a problem. I only mention it, so that if you (or others) repeat the style in a larger size, you consider not creating a cross-grain joint. This is really being picky - it's a very nice piece.
