need ideas: what to use instead of dry wall

I'm putting on a 14' x 23' sunroom addition and do not like the look of drywall as it already is through out the rest of the house. I'm looking for something different for the cieling and the little bit of wall space there is. Any ideas what to use?

How about T&G TK Cedar ,

    Or T&G Pine.

    In a 1x 4, 6 , 8 etc , product , net 3/4"x 5 1/2".

    Dry Wall

    Terry,
It's not as nice as T&G cedar or pine, but 3/8" rough sawn fir in 4x8 sheets is probably more economical.

T&G aspen comes in almost white/clear or colored/knotty depending on the look you want. I like to clear coat it before cutting & installing so I can do both sides. Coating both surfaces seems to retard the yellowing for some reason.
