Welcome and congratulations on getting your laser. This forum will hopefully save you from making some of those pesky newbie mistakes. I'm not much help since I'm pretty much a newbie myself, but I'll help whenever I can.

Welcome Larry! I wish I had found this forum before, or when I got my laser.. I would have saved a BUNCH of money.. It will take quite a while for the natural "Gee Whiz" mode to taper off, if ever. But during that time, don't be afraid to experiment. But, do a forum search on dangerous material, or material I should not laser first. Enjoy! Play safe! Lets see what you do..
Epilog 24TT(somewhere between 35-45 watts), CorelX4, Photograv(the old one, it works!), HotStamping, Pantograph, Vulcanizer, PolymerPlatemaker, Sandblasting Cabinet, and a 30 year collection of Assorted 'Junque'

Every time you make a typo, the errorists win

I Have to think outside the box.. I don't fit in it anymore

    Experience is a wonderful thing.
It enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

Another (sort of) new guy says welcome

We are barely past the stage of lasering anything that will fit and sit still in the machine. Do be careful of what you use, especially plastics. Don't know what will happen, but pvc is absolutely forbidden.
    Have fun!
P.S. There is not a z in laser.
