    Witherby 8" Drawknife

How much do you suppose an 8" Witherby Dawknife is worth.

    Details:

"8" is stamped on the left side and "Witherby" is stampedon the upper right. (both on the bevel side of the blade.)

No rust, handles are still really tight. About 3/4" of blade left. back needs flattening though. Handles are not cracked. Cups on bottom of handles are still there too.

    Thanks,

  2. I'm not sure what it's 'worth' but I'd probably pay $20-25 for it. Maybe a bit more if it was in excellent condition, but flattening the back on a drawknife can be a lot of work.

When you say it needs to be flattened, what do you mean? A lot of people use these with knife edges on them - it makes it a lot easier to work on mildly concave surfaces.

The back has a few dings here and there that need to be smoothed out. It has a knife edge on it right now though.
