Does anyone on the list have or know were I can find drying schedules for a DH kiln? I have read the you can use a steam kiln schedule just at a lower temp. However I have seen one example for white oak that was a litte different at the end of the schedule. Also I have read some DH kiln operators monitoring the drying rate by the volume of water removed per day. Anyone know were I can get that information or a way to calculate it?

Check woodweb on the commercial drying area. Lots of old articles, mostly geared toward the pro shop.

Hi Joe,
Thank you for responding. Yes Woodweb has been the source for most of my information regarding drying. However I have not been able to find what I am asking about. It could be there and I am just not finding it. I find Woodweb to be very difficult to find information.

Oh. I should mention that I have also posted this question over at the forestry forum. Only I haven't gotten a response yet. Seems like all are out using the new weather to their advantage.
