Help IDing a Stanley Plane

I bought a group of planes off of the bay with which to play around. There was one junky little block plane that I can't identify. Other than the Stanley name, I can't find any other markings. It appears to be pressed out of a metal sheet and has no adjustments at all, just slide the blade down and tighten. Any idea? Here are pics:

Thanks...and I couldn't agree more on the disgrace!. I was wondering if it was out of some "toy" tool set for kids. I recall lusting after one of those sets I saw in the Service Merchandise catalog about 35 years ago.

I think that's the technical name. Paint it some hideous color and use it as a paper weight. It's certainly not a plane.

Actually I just printed out some instructions, placed an order for powdered Asphaltum, planed my trip home from work to pickup a plastic bucket, rebar, and washing soda. All with plans for putting on my mad scientist's hat and experimenting on restoring that plane. Ok maybe japaning it isn't technically restoration for that plane, but it makes for good practice. Maybe if I screw it up, it'll be an improvement
