    Sharkguard Dust Collection Fitting

I have one of the guards on order with the 4" duct opening. I was wondering how easy it is to remove the duct from the fitting on the guard. I was thinking of using a quick connect fitting on it if possible, so I could share the duct with my above the table pick up on the router table mounted in the TS extension table.

That is exactly what I do but not with a Sharkguard. So, the plan is a good one. I am happy with my setup. I just can't confirm your specific hardware.

Mike, I am in the process of doing my ductwork and am doing a drop over my table saw. I am trying to position it so I can do the double duty like you mention. I would like to see a pic of your setup when you get it done or in progress, if you would. Thanks.

    Mike:

I rec'd my Sharkguard about 2 months ago. Veryyy pleased w/ performance and convenience. Worth the wait.

But the top of the plastic isn't quite truly round. The 4" flexible hose fits tight but a fitting might need a small screw to fasten. Why not ask Lee?
