Festool vac hose and power cord?

Does Festool sell a vac hose with a power cord made into the hose?

If not, what is the best way to bundle the two together?

Anybody ever tried a nylon sleve?

    Thanks,
    Rob

Not in the USA. Underwriters Lab won't allow the cord to be in the vacuum hose. I bought a package of small velcro strips at home depot and just attached the cord to the hose with velcro strips. Good luck.

You can buy hose clips hose_clip.jpg from Fein. Coastal Tool sells them http://coastaltool.com/cgi-bin/SoftC...8ca+1207432155

    Rob,

Seeing as the plugit cord fits everything but the large routers,

but the large router plugit does fit every thing....

I just zip tied the 1400 plugit to the hose.

Ditto on Per's response. All my cords except one is still in the box.

I just used nylon ties to attach the power cord to the vac hose. Wish the TS-55 used the same cord as all the other Festool tools I have.

I''m using the velcro strips from the depot as my vac gets used with festool, bosch, makita and PC tools and the festool cords definitely don't fit other brands.

I find these velcro straps work well with Festool hose and cord. They're also handy around the shop for other uses too. I got mine at Officemax

I posted that on the Festool owners group been using it 2 years works great and unlike Festool's hose that runs the power cord in the inside I don't loose hose diameter and it protects the hose and makes it slid better over the guides. Here are all the details:

I think I saw on the Festool forum that a cut up innertube--make little donuts--works well for this...
