    Ambrosia Maple Hollow Form

This is from a maple give-away at my local turning club. The piece looked very plain on the outside, but revealed quite a bit of color once I started turning. Sometimes you just don't know what to expect from a piece of wood.

The base and collar are walnut finished with black lacquer.

    Thanks for looking.

Georgous piece. I really like the angle on the base. Fantastic grain in the wood too.
