    local source for maple plywood

    I can't find this stuff anywhere having no trouble finding oak in western PA, but I need some 3/8" maple for a box bottom. help!

    3/8 is an odd size for "standard" plywood around here.

    Menards stocks maple ply here in 1/2 and 3/4 and it is not bad stuff. Most local lumber yards can order it from their regular distributors.

    Also if you carefully look through the birch you can often find a piece that you won't be able to tell the difference.
