    Dust Collector

    I have a small home shop. I am interested in a dust collector system. I have a 10" table saw, a router table, a 6" jointer, 12" ras, and a band saw. I would like to have a floor sweep also. Can anyone tell me what size I need and what is a good brand. Thanks Buddy Greenoe

    Budget will be one of the major deciding factor. I personally have a Jet DC-1100 with a canister filter in a stationary position - hard piped. Recently upgraded to 6" ducting w/4" hose to the tools. My garage is my shop and needs space for my wifes car so this system works well for me.

    Floor sweep is a good way to introduce something into your DC you may not otherwise wish to have. Nails and screws and what not.

    YMMV. I just sweep and or use a shop vac for general cleanup.
