I'm making a small, circular table for our "breakfast nook." The table top will be 30" diameter, and will sit on a four-legged base with stringers running between the legs. Very typical design, you've seen a million of them. My only question--how far should the top overhang the legs? Too little overhang and the legs and stringers will be too prominent. Too much overhang and the table will appear unsteady. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

John
