Thread: Polyurethane before or after bed assembly?

    Looks good. So did you apply the poly before putting it all together?

    Yes. This was definitely the way to go. In my mind i thought that putting a finish coat on by brushing was going to be like brushing honey on. I was worried that it would make everything thick and goofy.

    Wiping the pieces and assembling was definitely the way to go. Wiping was definitely the right thing for me. I couldnt be happier with the way this finish turned out.

    I really appreciate everyones help and input. It really did help me a lot. Thanks.
