    It's been almost 2 years since he last visited the Creek.

    Bruce.....I don't have a clue.....He had a family member with some health issues......sister IIRC....then the hurricane hit......I haven't seen him post since...........

    Pearl Harbor Day!!

    I listed myself when the thread was first started; so this is just an addendum prompted by the fact I've seen people adding family members; so

    me - US Army Corps of Engineers 1942 - 1946
    Dad - US Navy 1917 - 1919
    Mother US Navy 1918 1919 (hah bet you didn't know women were enlisted in Navy back then)
    Maternal Grandfather - US Army Spanish American War
    Maternal Great Grandfather US Army Civil War (I remember him - he lost an arm)
    Paternal Great Grandfather - died in service US Army Civil War
    War of 1812 - don't know of any relatives
    Revolutionary War at least one soldier in my father's family

    Father, USAAC Tail gunner on the "Yankee Raider" (among others), a B-17F in the 368th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. Stationed at Thurleigh, England.

    Uncle, US Army Served in the Korean War, unit and area unknown.
