Pen Exchange Pics

Wasn't sure where to post the pics of our pens for the exchange when finished so I'll put it here and if it needs to be moved then please do so.

O.K. Jeff, here it is hope you like it. A lot of new stuff for me went into this pen. This is the first multi wood accent that I've tried, first center band that I've turned and the first time using CA as a finish.

The pen is a slim-line gun metal grey, the accent is Ebony & birdseye Maple and the center band is birdseye Maple and glued to the top prior to turning. Comments Please!

Beautiful on the pen. I have not tried segmenting really need to give it a try. Looks like a great finish. I think I would prefer the center band that came with the kit. Just my thoughts.

Troy - nice looking pen. I like the idea of making the center ring. In my opinion, the ring might have looked better in the ebony, rather than maple. My eye is drawn to the ring rather than the rest of the pen. Just a thought
