    Looking for cello stand plans.

    I've been told to construct a cello stand. To that end, does anyone know of where one might find plans for a cello stand or a cello stand kit? I haven't been able to google up anything other than a site selling an interesting looking wooden stand. A search of SMC resulted in someone referencing a shaker cello stand kit, but other than that, nada.

    From the look of it, you probably have more experience than others building cello stands - even if you never made one. I think you stumped us.

    I looked around a little and saw two kinds of stands (no plans): one kind that was an adjustable metal frame and another like a low, felt-lined box with appropriate grooves and holes. Which did you have in mind?
