    1st Turnings - Pens " critique requested"

    Well thanks to Mr Wayne Bittting - I may be spinning in the vortex...

    Anyway not only did Wayne introduce me to turning but what does he go and do...LEND ME HIS DAMN TurnCrafterPro VS!!

    Anyway in the last week, I "turned" these mothers out! (I had to throw a little MC Hammer in here)..Sorry

    1. Slimline Black TN set - Bloodwood
    2. Designer Black TN set - Bloodwood and Ebony
    3. Designer Black TN -Bloodwood inlaid Maple
    4. Slimline Rhodium - Tamarind Spalted(sp)

    Finally proof you are doing something in your basement- good job Joe! The maple/bloodwood came out well, can't tell but it looks like you turned a bit too much off by the center band. Keep practicing, you've got the hang of it. Let me know when you've made your 200th one, you've got just over two weeks!

    I'm glad that I was able to lend you my lathe and tools so you could get a feel for things being before making the investment. Not only that, but now that the Turncrafter isn't using the 1642EVS-2 as a stand, I'm finally using it! (pics to follow this weekend after I buff everything)
