Aaron,

I just posted 3 posts in the OT forum I moderate and my counter for each of the posts shows I have 1037 posts......Why isn't it changing?

Dennis,

The post count showed at the top of each post is
loaded each time it's displayed--thus it will be the same
for each post. Likewise, if you change your avatar, it will
be updated on each post automatically.

But what I don't get is that three seperate posts and only a single count.

Post 1 - 1037 posts
Post 2 - 1037 posts
post 3 - 1037 posts

It's almost like counter is NOT equal to counter + 1

If I make more than one post in a single forum...the counter is supposed to increase by 1. Right?

OK....OK....just take me out and SHOOT ME!!!!.....I just saw what happened on the posts here. I was just used to seeing the post BEFORE the last post and the number being different each time.

Nothing like new fandangled software to confuse me.!!

Dennis, did you look at the post count after the first post? Then the second? Etc....? The post count is dynamic across your entire profile. If you post #3333 here and go over to the next forum and post two minutes later, the count will go to 3334 on *both* posts.
