    Belt for Grizzly lathe

I need a belt for a small Grizzly lathe model G 5967. Grizzly no longer
    carries any parts for the lathe. Its a 5 15/16 X 12 (150mmX300mm) lathe.
The belt I'm looking for would be 4mm wide and approx 430mm in length.
The grizzly tech guy said it was a V shape belt, but he had no more info.
Any ideas for a source for belts this size or creative solutions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Craig,

You should be able to get a replacement belt from an auto supply store. They would need the measurements that you have to reference what is available. Bearing supply stores generally have a large stock of belts as well.

I know this is an old thread but maybe it will help somebody one of these days. I took the pulleys off of my G5967 and had a friend with a metal lathe turn the center of the pulley down to fit a regular belt I bought from an auto parts store. The original belt size according to Grizzly was 3/16" X 17 3/4".
After having the pulleys turned I bought an 18" belt and it fits perfectly.
