Mother's Day - Engraving Pink Ivory

Hi,

I do pen turnings along with other small gift items. Does anyone have any experience with engraving pink ivory.

Does the engraved part stay pink or will it turn brown from the heat?

Any problems with engraving the end grain?

Any pics of end results would be great!

Hi Tim,
Pink ivory engraves beautifully. Nice medium to dark brown which is a good contrast with the creamy red color of the pink ivory. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics but I have engraved a few pink ivory pens.
