Display case / table - plans?

Looking for plans
Something like a display case on something like a sofa table.

I have about 13 width by some length, so I assume a sofa table would be about right.
I need to place items inside to be oogled, so I assume a glass display-case on top of legs would be good.

First actual google hit for "Sheraton Sofa Table" is a good example of what I'm thinking.

Any ideas where I can find some plans?

From your description, I'm not sure what you are looking for. The picture is a SketchUp drawing I made by combining a sofa table and display case downloaded from Google SketchUp 3D Warehouse. There is no joinery or details so it is not a set of plans - conceptual at this point.

Any help???

Attached should be a sketch (if I did it right) of a display case that I designed and built for a custom application in a small local museum. Actually I built three of them. I thought this might be modified to fit your needs or give some ideas for your design.
