    JDS Gavel

I'm engraving a plaque that will have a gavel mounted to it. Customer will be picking it up on Monday. Problem is that I won't be getting the gavel until monday and I need to engrave the plaque this weekend.

I'm looking at the 8 inch gavel, WFG8 and mounting it with the clip, GC810. Does anyone know where the clip mounts on the gavel? is it on the fat part of the handle or skinny part near the head? They some text to be immediately above and below the handle, but if the clip is there I wouldn't be able to do it.

    Clip placement

    Craig,

The gavel clips I've seen are attached near the head of the gavel. Can't remember ever seeing a clip on the fat end of the handle.

It is probably shown on their web site.
