    Not the big one but I did get this finished.

    It is maple like that big blank and when I started I fully intended to embellish it because I thought the wood was going to be bland. It never ceases to amaze me what is inside a piece of wood.

    11 3/4" x 1 1/2", antique oil and buffed, right at 3/16" wall thickness.

    What do you think?

    Beautiful bowl Toney - amazing wood! Glad you left it natural - can't imagine improving what you already have! Very nice! Hope the big one has as much working for it as this one!

    Real nice, Toney, especially the form. The concave slope of the rim looks really cool.
