stand ideas?

Can you suggest a table stand for a 12" x 12" piece of granite tile? The twist is, I want to display it on end, that is, as a diamond shape with the point down.
Have you seen or used a stand that may work for that? I can adapt the 2-piece wooden stand designs we all use, but this may require some better engineering. The granite is beautiful, but quite heavy.

I doubt this one in particular is strong enough to hold a granite tile, but some modifications to base size and weight could make it possible.

It does give some ideas on how to redesign for the heavy granite. Time to get creative!
