    Blood Wood Carving

    This was over in the Boat Building forum but. I just now found all of these carving pictures so here's the link for you carvers. That want dull tools and really hard wood to carve.

    i tried to carve some wenge, that dulled the knife real quick
    14x48 custom 2hp 9gear lathe
    9 inch pre 1940 craftsman lathe
    36 inch 1914 Sydney bandsaw (BEAST)
    Wood in every shelf and nook and cranny,,, seriously too much wood!

    Angus: The owner of these boats is a retired soybean farmer from Indiana.

    He lives here full time now and is doing quite a good job in tourism.
