    Small bowl

Can't seem to get enough shop time to get a whole lot done. One week I may get to rough one or two small bowls and if I am lucky get to finish them a couple weeks later. Here is a small one from 3 weeks ago. Red Oak only about 5 1/2 wide by 2 tall. was a bigger blank but had to cut off a very large crack.

Interesting shape Dennis. I quite like the rim treatment.

Dennis, I also like that rim and understand what you mean by lack of shop time. I am still looking for a free moment to mess around with that mesquite you sent me.
    Thanks for posting.

Nice work Dennis! Unique form - great looking wood and finish! Hope you get some shop time real soon - I know not turning has been driving me nuts! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

I like it, Dennis. Yes, shop time is limited for most all of us, something that makes smaller projects all the more attractive - we get to finish more of them! mike

Great bowl with a unique lip. Very nice finish.
