Water based poly in a bathroom?

I am in the process of building a Maple Medicine cabinet for our bathroom. My question is, how will water based polyurethanes hold up in the moist environment? I just want a clear finish to match the vanity. I usually use General Finishes High Performance Polyurethane Top Coat. Any better options?

A water borne finish is just fine for this application. Keep in mind that they are all acrylics with the formulas tweaked for various properties. (Adding polyurethane resins to them doesn't do anything for a furniture application outside of marketing effect) If you are happy with the General Finishes product you have been using, go for it as it will match the look you already have which is a desired goal by your statement.
