    Self motivated pen drive

Hello everyone sorry haven't been on for quite a while. Last 4 months been doing my part for the troops from my local National Guard here in notheastern Pa. Did a hundred and twenty pens did this batch of a hundred last month. The other hundred and twenty didn't take a pic of yet. Well this batch was sent to my church for the blessing and given to Sgt. Boyer and the person that took the photo Sgt. Morgan. Did my first hundred for the men and women of the 109th Field Artillary that are now stationed in Iraq and Afganistan. Found out that 120 more were need and got them done in a record pace. Being that health is an issue I only did them when I felt half decent. Makes me feel a whole lot better doing this for them. This last batch I got a lot of help from my fellow wood works from various forums that I got to know really well. So here are the pics. Hope you enjoy them as much as I feel to where they are going. I stand behind the Troop 100%.

Thanks yes it does make me proud that I was able to do this small gift for them god knows they deserve our up most respect and not loose our proudness of them. I intend to do more but I have to say I have to take a break on them for a little while. Started seeing slim line pen dreams. But now I covered the entire unit for now so I will stock up when more of them unfortunately go over in harms way. Thanks again. I would like to maybe get involved with your pen drive here for the troops so if someone can get in touch with me and explain how it works I am interested.

    Glenmore,

    I just got involved myself.

Go to the FPP forum. You can start a new thread or send a PM to Jackie Outten. Basically, if you want to buy FPP kits, you can buy them from Jackie. They are at a greatly reduced price. She ships them pen kits to you. You provide the blanks and turn them and ship them back to Jackie. FPP in turn ships the pens to service people overseas. Right now, there is a request for 6,000 pens for the crew members of the USS Abraham Lincoln.
