Cool Copper, Quarts and Honey Locust symphony

This is something I made a few years ago, but I think it is something that can give us turners another look at combining materials that work well together so I thought I post them.

I picked up the rock core samples at an abandoned mine while 4 wheeling one summer, and the copper pieces I spun on my lathe, the Honey Locust I choose for the color to go with the other pieces.
    Any/all comments are appreciated

Wow Leo - what an interesting combination of materials! Lots to look at as far as colors and texture! Like you already stated - it's great to experiment with different materials - you just never know what will work until you give it a try!
