HQ sanding drum for air-grinder or dremel?

I need to sand some tight concave curves - mainly after they've been cut on either the bandsaw or with a jigsaw.

I would prefer to sand with either a small air-grinder (dremel-style) or a dremel. The difference in choosing the two is mainly the thickness of the shank on the sanding drum.

The sanding drums and bands that are included in the dremel kit and are available as spares are simply of too low quality, so I'm looking for something of higher quality.

I've seen on some websites that caters for intarsia fans, that you can buy air-inflated sanding drums.
These and the relevant sanding bands should be of very high quality, but the shank seems to be to short.
On top of that I would also like a sanding drum with as small a diameter as possible (preferably 15mm or less).

I have found a sanding drum with a 6mm shank for the air-grinder that seems to be of higher quality, but the sanding bands are only available in 150 grit and I would like some in at least 220 grit if possible.

Suggestions for a product that will suit my needs are most welcome!

    Thanks!

I've used the solid grinding stones on wood with good success.

I find the sanding drums are quite wobble rpone, so you need to rotate them until you hit a calm spot. So I avoid them if I can.
