    Granite or stone look

About 20 years ago, I used a product that was sprayed on MDF and would look like granite and various other stones. It may even have been a water base product. I can not remember the name or where I bought it.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? ( the paint, not the memory loss, LOL.

I don't know about 20 years ago, but Krylon makes a spray paint called Make It Stone that may be of use to you.

In addition, at most good paint stores, and even some big boxes, there are similar faux finishing products that could be used for such things.

What is the application for which this will be used? How would you prefer to apply it--roller or airless spray or ? How authentic must the stone appear?

Depending on how detailed you need to get, you might want to track down the 4th poster in this thread. Should not be tough as he is a moderator.

In this thread he shows a table that me "marbelized". It looks amazing and it blows my mind to think about how he did it. You might need a login to see pics but the registration process is easy, straightforward and free.
