Smile Playing tricks with the looks of wood

I made this box a while ago, but it is funny to see how people look and act with the presumption of what they think they see
The box is made from Mulberry about 5" tall, with a bottle like shape, I inlaid the top with a piece of spalted Red Oak that has a cork-like appearance.
The grain looks continues and so when people pick it up, they are trying to take out the cork, never fails, and no the "cork" won't come out, , you should hear the giggling when they find it opens like a box

That is very clever and well done. Time for me to look through the wood stash for that "cork" looking wood.

Very nice little box Leo! Great use of imagination! Anything that causes people to 'think' about what they are looking at is special and to be able to get them to laugh at themselves is priceless!
