How to relax in a boat

I was in Traverse City, MI the past few months and noticed a really neat idea for relaxing in a small boat beyond the usual pad. Adirondack chairs (painted red to match the boat trim) were installed aft. Perfect solution and all I have to do is resize Norm's chair plans. I was interested in this boat as it's about the size of my next project, a Redwing 18 skiff.

The only thing missing from those Adirondack chairs are the drink holders.

Have you sat in an Adirondack chair? for any length of time?
    I find them very uncomfortable.

Mike, I have a pair of Adirondack/Muskoka chairs made by a friend of mine who runs a company making outdoor cedar furniture. Very, very comfortable. Kind of like Windsor chairs for outside.

Maybe I am a weird size then, I dont find Windsor chairs very comfortable either. Not as bad as adirondacks but not more than a couple minutes before the aches set in.
