The MDF I buy from my cabinet supplier is still .750" unless its metric in which caseit is an exact metric number. I bought 1/4" MDF for a sample door once from the orange borg in a pinch, the stuff sold as 1/4" per the label, but measured exactly 3/16"! Tough to put that in a 1/4" groove.

I think those crooks shave 1/16" in an attempt to increase profit personally. I'd guess they buy enough to have it made to their specs. I want my 1/16" back.

My lumber yard stuff is still .75". Haven't checked the Borg lately; just really don't use them for wood products anymore.

looks like they may till out of stock. I know my fellow woodworker was trying all over town to find 3/4" material. I bought two sheets last week and I checked them and they are 11/16" they are also painted white. so did they do that to make sure they are not mixed up?
