    Laser pointer and ZnSe focus

    Hi people,

    Yup more questions.

I have figured a way to add a laser pointer for positioning and setup and seem to recall reading about some lenses being opaque to some pointers.

Before ordering a standard red laser pointer, will that work with my ZnSe focus lens?

    Thanks again.

One of the advantages to ZnSe lenses is they permit both near-IR (CO2 lasers) and visible wavelengths through... a red laser pointer will work fine.
